Victorian Tag Book
This is a little story book made entirely of tags. A few of the
images are from The Graphics Fairy. This project was quite
time-intensive, but quite fun making it as a gift!
Here is a tip if you want to create one: Pick your images
first and then build the story around them. (This
one happens to be a story about children walking
in their garden and seeing fairies. ) Each fairy has
a different lesson to teach the children about:
imagination, kindness, and love.
I particularly like to use shapes (such as the butterfly) that extend
off the tag as they make it more visually appealing. I used a
heart, butterfly, and dragonfly punch made by the Paper
Studio. When your book is completed, simply tie together
with rope and attach organza ribbons.
I am also making a box for this to be placed in so that it
can sit next to the child's bedside. I will decorate it with
complimentary colors.

Entry 1
Some fun news--
I have 2 new art videos that were just produced!
You can see them on Utube.
Just type in Cindy Adkins mixed media
into their search and it will come up.
The video are also on the home page
of this site (they are at the bottom of
the "Home" page.) But, some people
have had difficulty with downloading
from their browsers on here.
Can't wait for you to see them!

Brag Monday--Entry 2
For this challenge, I created a digital picture and then made
a card from it to create a Victorian New Year's card--
Happy New Year everyone! The vintage image
is from the Graphics Fairy.
Hugs,
Cindy
